2007 Subaru Tribeca Roof Screen Replacement
This particular model of car generally comes as standard with a 7″ roof monitor built into the roof lining, however it was faulty and couldn’t be repaired as parts we no longer available (the same for most factory units).
The customer fetched it to our workshop in Sheffield because they were told ‘we were the company to sort it’. On initial inspection we saw a small screen integrated into a great big massive plastic pod which was cut into the roof lining, so on removal it left a huge hole in the roof lining. The cure was to fit a much larger 13.3″ dvd screen (which benefitted the customer) and mount it to the metal frame in the roof and then make a finishing panel to cover any gaps.
