2013 Landrover Freelander 2 Front Parking Sensor Upgrade

The supply and installation of a set of Laserline front parking sensors.  The kit consists of 4 heads, the brain and an override switch.  The sensors were painted to match the front bumper colour and then flush fitted from the rear of the bumper to give that OEM factory look.  The sensors work via the speed of the vehicle and automatically turn on under a certain speed, then turn off when the vehicle starts to accelerate.  The override switch is for the odd occasion when the driver may park up close to something and keep the ignition turned on because they are on the phone or listening to music.  In this situation, the front sensors will pick up any objects in front of them and will keep beeping, the switch can then be pressed to override the sensors for that particular moment.

I bought a car radio from somewhere else with the intention of replacing the factory installed one. I contacted Halfords and they bluntly told me that they did not fit a radio that was not supplied by them. I then stumbled upon Source Sounds on internet and decided to give them a try.
What set wind to my sails was their warm customer relations and their confidence that it was “do-able!”. Their charges are reasonable as well.
They changed the fascia and in the process provided extra space for auxiliary equipment (space that had been covered by only two knobs on the previous radio). They kept me updated on the progress. I now have a trim dashboard , and am over the moon! Thanks to Paul and his team. Your customer care is second to none.
