2010 BMW Mini Cooper Works Audio Upgrade

After listening to other cars, this customer realised his factory system wasn’t upto scratch.  He wanted something of good quality but without seeing anything.

We used a 3 way component speaker set of Hertz Energy ESK163 for the front end and a set of Hertz Energy ECX690 for the rear quarter panels.  For sub bass, we custom built an enclosure for a Hertz ES300D 12″ subwoofer and made a false floor to hide this sub under.  All the speakers were driven from a Hertz HDP5 5 channel amplifier which we mounted behind the drivers side rear boot panel allowing access to the controls for audio adjustment.  To get a decent signal from the factory stereo we utilised an Audio Control Lc2i interface with a sub level controller which we mounted just infront of the handbrake.

A rare treat to experience excellent customer service, real expert and knowledgeable advice, enthusiasm and on-going support. Nothing is too much trouble for Paul and the team at Source Sounds. I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else!

Really happy with my service and my purchase. Christian and Paul were really honest and polite, and helped me make the right decision in regards to choosing to upgrade my sound system as opposed to replacing my faulty CD player like for like.
