2017 BMW 5 Series Audio Upgrade

As with most new BMWs the audio system is of very poor quality. After listening to the system, our customer came in to see what we could do to make his driving experience better. After a lengthy discussion, the customer opted for a set of Rainbow BMW specific speakers. These speakers are powered from a Hertz HCP 5D 5 channel amplifier. This amplifier gave a lot more power to the audio system to enhance the quality of sound. We also added a subwoofer to recreate the low frequencies found in all music, otherwise known as bass. The poor signal from the factory stereo was fed into an Audison Bit TenD. This system has an EQ feature built in to allow fine tuning of the audio frequencies. Once complete, the customer was over the moon with the outcome and can now thoroughly enjoy his daily commute.

I recently visited Source Sounds to have a new security system fitted to my Land Rover Defender. They are 170 miles from where I live. The whole experience from the time I first made contact with them was superb, trouble free and a pleasure. Whilst there I also invested in a dash cam which they hard wired and fitted for me. Despite all of the work carried out, when I collected the vehicle there was no sign that anyone had interfered with vehicle, inside and out. Paul spent an hour plus with me on collection to explain the use of the items fitted. I was also assisted with hotel transport and securing my vehicle overnight. I bought a car radio from somewhere else with the intention of replacing the factory installed one. I contacted Halfords and they bluntly told me that they did not fit a radio that was not supplied by them. I then stumbled upon Source Sounds on internet and decided to give them a try.
