Old Skool BMW Custom Audio Upgrade
This vehicle is one of the more ‘full-on’ installs we have done in relation to pure out and out power.
The customer loves bass, so we put our heads together and came up with a wall of 5x 13″ Focal K2P subwoofers. These subs had 2 amplifiers to power each one of them, giving a total of 10x Audison VRx monoblock amplifiers just for bass. When you consider that each amp (when fully loaded) will draw 250a of current EACH, you can imagine how much power they produce! To power all these monster amps we custom built a power distribution system which took power from 3x Optima Yellow Top batteries. The front end we used were a set of Focal 130KP 5.25″ component speakers and these were run through a Rockford Fosgate Symmetry equaliser for individual frequency adjustment.
