Audi TTS Stealth Install

The order of the day for this vehicle was to keep as much space as possible. It’s a sports car so generally there isn’t much space in the boot to utilise without losing it all.

This stunning Audi TTS was subjected to the skills of ourt installation team and we came up with something that lost no space, but still sounded amazing.

We removed the foam former from underneath the boot floor and made a custom sub enclosure to fit in the same space. A JL Audio 13TW5 was used as it was only 2.5″ deep but still gave a great deal of output. This and the upgraded front speakers were then driven of a Genesis P5 amplifier which is minimal in depth. A new boot floor was made, allowing for the bass to still pass through and enter the cabin and hey presto, an install losing no boot space but still sounding as good as the customer required.

Was there today, 18th May at 8am to have the front components on my ford focus changed to a pair of Audison Prima’s, along with some sound deadening anf wave diffusers fitted.
Got there and the staff couldnt have been more helpful or polite. Told me it would he ready by midday. After 2 and half hrs i went to have a look to see how the work was going and the technicians were almost done with it even talking to me during finishing off the install to advise me on future upgrades im thinking of and how to achieve the result im after.

They even vaccumed the car after they had finished and went through the setip of my current stock stereo to maoe sure the new speakers were set right, advising me on how to adjust the headunit to ensure optimal burn in for the new speakers.

I arrived to find two technicians on their lunch break busily helping a lost parcel delivery guy waylaid with items. This bode well for assessing the character of Source Sounds. A replacement head unit and the re wiring of a sub made me self concious that I was not their biggest customer. I could not have been more wrong. They squeezed my job in that very day and phoned me as soon as all was complete. I never had to repeat anything twice. Lee’s perseverance and tenacity was infectious. Several minor issues that I had tolerated previously are now history. I thoroughly recommend this company.
