Stealth upgrade Audi A3 Sportback 2006

The purpose of this project was to keep the loss of space to a minimum. A fibre glass enclosure was custom built into the passenger side panel of the boot, with a similar panel made to house the amplifier in the drivers side panel. The boot floor was re-made and ‘voila’, a very good sounding audio system with virtually no boot space lost.

While we were at it, we upgraded the original Audi double din stereo with an Alpine double din navigation system which gave a superior audio performance over the original cheap unit.

Source Sounds recently completed a stealth boot install in my Octavia, along with new front speakers and some additional little tweaks. The work they have done has been immaculate.
