BMW M3 CSL gets a Stealth Install
This being the CSL version, the customer also used the car for track days aswell as normal driving so didn’t want to put too much additional equipment into the vehicle. We suggested a product that was made specifically for this model of BMW, a pair of JL Audio 8″ subwoofer enclosures that replaced the original rear speakers and mounted to the rear shelf. This gave him subbase in the car without adding a huge box into the boot compartment.
After a few listens we decided on a set of Focal 165K2P front 6.50″ component speakers and a Genesis 4 channel Series III amplifier to power the system. As the products were of real high quality the customer also used cabling of the same quality, 2x Chord Cobra RCA cables and Chord Carnival Silver Screen speaker cable to get the best out of the system. The amplifier was fitted underneath the boot carpet so as not to take up any valuable space the customer may need to use.
