Custom Boot Install in BMW 3 Series E46

The pictures below show another fine example of a custom boot installation from Source Sounds of Sheffield.

Products used were from JL Audio and consisted of a 12w7 12″ subwoofer, a 1000/1 monoblock amplifier to power the monstrous sub and a 300/2 2 channel amplifier which powered the front 6.50″ component speakers which were JL Audio C5.

The customer requested something a bit special, so we built a custom enclosure for the 12w7 and utilised 22mm perspex for the rear of the box so you could see the rear of the sub. The enclosure was then lit from the inside to highlight the subwoofer and we also added accent lighting to the custom amplifier rack that we also built into the floor area. The install was then trimmed in two different shades of alcantara to give it that ‘extra special’ touch.

Was there today, 18th May at 8am to have the front components on my ford focus changed to a pair of Audison Prima’s, along with some sound deadening anf wave diffusers fitted.

They even vaccumed the car after they had finished and went through the setip of my current stock stereo to maoe sure the new speakers were set right, advising me on how to adjust the headunit to ensure optimal burn in for the new speakers.

We traveled from Rotherham to get these guys to fit some reversing sensors to my wife’s car, I’d been before and they were very professional for both alarms and a radio on my van and this time as before they were brilliant.
