2010 Audi S5 Navigation Upgrade

This customer was pretty desperate to get his hands on one of these cars that he bought one without navigation, even though it was something he required. Due to the spec of the car we couldn’t remove the standard radio and install something else so we had to come up with a different solution.

We supplied a rear view mirror that had a 7″ screen built into the centre of it and to this we added a Clarion navigation computer which then put the navigation map onto the centre of the mirror. The control was all done by a small hand held remote and the navigation direction command came through a separate speaker that was installed out view.

A replacement head unit and the re wiring of a sub made me self concious that I was not their biggest customer. I could not have been more wrong.
