A custom audio upgrade, concentrating on a heavy heavy bass sound. 4x 15″ Hertz Hi-Energy subwoofers, each powered from a Hertz HDP1 mono amplifier. Hertz SPL Show 8″ mids and SPL Show tweeters mounted into each door to give an extremely loud but clear sound, which are powered from the remaining amp, a Hertz HDP4.
I bought a car radio from somewhere else with the intention of replacing the factory installed one. I contacted Halfords and they bluntly told me that they did not fit a radio that was not supplied by them. I then stumbled upon Source Sounds on internet and decided to give them a try.

They changed the fascia and in the process provided extra space for auxiliary equipment (space that had been covered by only two knobs on the previous radio). They kept me updated on the progress. Source Sounds recently completed a stealth boot install in my Octavia, along with new front speakers and some additional little tweaks. The work they have done has been immaculate. You would never know the anything had changed, until the music starts that is. The improvement is immense. I just want to take my car for drives, just to listen to things.
