2005 BMW 5 Series Audio Upgrade
As this customer likes music he was disappointed when he purchased this vehicle. The sound quality and volume were certainly lacking. We recommended a BMW front speaker upgrade kit from Rainbow. This was an 8″ midbass, 4″ midrange and 1″ tweeter. These speakers were powered from an Audion Prima AP8.9BIT 8 channel amplifier. This amp was bridged into a 4 channel to give more power to the under seat woofers and the doors.
To give the customer low bass response we added a Hertz ES300D 12″ subwoofer. This was powered from a Hertz HCP 1D amplifier to give us 700w rms into the subwoofer. The ski hatch was also removed to help the bass transition from boot to cabin area.
