Bentley GT 2006 Factory Stereo Replacement
After the OEM navigation system became faulty it was apparent from Bentley that the cost of an OEM replacement unit far out ways the features that would be received. With this particular vehicle, we supplied and installed a Kenwood DNX-8160DABS 7″ touch screen unit with full European navigation, CD, DVD, Bluetooth hands free with Music Streaming and USB capabilities for iPod control. Another feature of this unit is the facility to utilise the Apple CarPlay system that is built into iOS8 upwards, enabling the driver to send/receive texts via Siri, use Apple Maps and other specific apps like Spotify and Deezer.
This unit was fitted into the dash using a custom fabricated dashboard panel which retained all the factory heater and air con controls and kept the steering wheel functions working. The installation of a product like this would be in the region of £2800 supplied and fitted (cheaper screens are available and would reduce this price).
