Custom Door Pods on an Audi A3 2004
The 2004 Audi A3 has a different door panel design to the 2003. With this custom door build here at Source in Sheffield, we utilised the original door pocket to help us make a speaker pod that seamlessly integrated onto the door panel. We trimmed it using nearly identical vinyl to the OEM grained plastic so it blended in perfectly. When finished, they looked original, as though Audi themselves had built the full door panel.
For this particular customer, we also custom fitted his tweeters onto the A-Pillar to give a much better sound stage for the listener.
