2001 Ford Fiesta Custom Audio Install

Removal of all factory audio equipment and replaced with very good quality MTX products.

Here at Source we custom built new door panels to house 2x MTX AXE 6.50″ component speakers with one of the tweeters being located into A-Pillar builds to give a feeling of a higher sound stage. We modified the dashboard to custom fit an Alpine double DIN touch screen DVD player and then built a custom subwoofer enclosure in the boot to house an MTX Thunder 8510 10″ subwoofer. The front end was powered from an MTX TA 4 channel amp while the sub was driven from an MTX TA mono amplifier. All trimmed in blue alcantara and black vinyl to match the vehicles interior.

I arrived to find two technicians on their lunch break busily helping a lost parcel delivery guy waylaid with items. This bode well for assessing the character of Source Sounds. A replacement head unit and the re wiring of a sub made me self concious that I was not their biggest customer. I could not have been more wrong. They squeezed my job in that very day and phoned me as soon as all was complete. I never had to repeat anything twice. Lee’s perseverance and tenacity was infectious.
