2010 BMW 1 Series Car Play Upgrade

The supply and installation of the new Pioneer SPH-DA120 6.2″ capacitive touch screen system that utilises the new feature from Apple called Car Play which can be found in iOS8 upwards. This feature uses some generic features of the phone, such as Navigation, Music and Phone, as well as additional apps like Spotify and Stitcher. The unit has an inbuilt bluetooth module for use with any phone and AM/FM Radio. There is an additional USB socket for iPod connectivity and via a combination of leads an Android device can be used for the App Radio mode. On this vehicle all factory functions were retained such as rear parking sensor beeps and the steering wheel controls.
